- DPlot plotting software for scientists and engineers
- DPlot is a general purpose XY plotting program designed for scientists and engineers. It features multiple scaling types, including linear, logarithmic, and probability scales, as well as several special purpose plots: tripartite grids (shock spectra), grain size distribution plots, and polar plots. Manipulation functions include FFT, filtering, smoothing, numerical integration and differentiation. Data can be input via file, copied from the clipboard, or sent to DPlot from another program via dynamic data exchange. A 30-day free trial version is available from http://www.dplot.com. Registration is $25; site license pricing is available.
- JavaView
- JavaView is 3d geometry viewer and numerical software library written in Java. It allows to include 3D geometries in any HTML document, and to present interactive numerical experiments on the internet. A stand-alone version of JavaView runs from a Unix or Dos command prompt and can be attached as 3D viewer to other programs like Mathematica.
JavaView's is a numerical software library with special focus on problems in differential geometry. Its class library can be used and extended for own numerical experiments in Java, while always profiting from the advanced 3D visualization capabilities and the web integration.
- Numerical Math Utilities
- A collection of handy mathematical routines. The user interface is friendly and the underlying algorithms are well-written. Because these utilities are written in Javascript, which is very similar to "C", this site is also convenient in the sense that the source code is easy to take and convert into "C" for inclusion in other programs.
- TOPCOM
- TOPCOM is a collection of commands to compute Triangulations Of Point Configurations and Oriented Matroids, resp.
The algorithms use only combinatorial data of the point configuration as is given by its oriented matroid. Some basic commands for computing and manipulating oriented matroids can also be accessed by the user.
